"Angel Come Home" To Be Distributed Nationwide

"Angel Come Home" has received a contract from Bookmasters, resulting in nationwide distribution of the novel. As a result of the contract, "Angel Come Home" will be found across the country in stores such as Barnes & Noble, Borders, Books-A-Million, Target, Wal-Mart, and others.

Stuart Wisong, author, and Ryan Hadlock, executive director of the Angel Come Home Legacy for Animal Welfare, donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sales of the book to animal welfare organizations. As a result of the national distribution deal, they will now be able to aid animals in all 50 states.

California Activism

Stuart Wisong and Ryan Hadlock have been busy attending animal welfare events in California this June. Earlier in the month, they attended the Mercy for Animals fundraiser "Free to Be: A Night for the Animals" in West Hollywood. The event honored Sam Simon, co-creator of "The Simpsons" television program for his commitment to the animals. Stuart and Ryan also participated in Humane Lobby Day at the state capital in Sacramento.

Humane Lobby Day was designed to promote passage of animal welfare laws for both wildlife and domestic animals.

Stuart and Angel attended the "South of SOHO" fundraiser for the Naples, Florida Humane Society on December 6th. More than 230 attendees filled the elegant Ritz-Carlton lobby to partake of the silent auction, refreshments and marvel at the giant gingerbread house. Shelter dogs up for adoption were also on hand and drawing much attention. Stuart was hailed as a best-selling author and commended for his considerable charitable efforts in Naples, and on behalf of animals in general. A good time was had by all, and the Humane Society proclaimed it a very successful fundraiser, with more than $50,000 raised.
